Sharon PTO would like to thank all of our teachers and volunteers for all the support they give to our staff and students. In particular, a BIG THANK YOU goes out everyone who helps to make our fundraiser's a big success!

Dollars and Sense

When it comes right down to it, the PTO could not support the school without fundraisers. While your support in our fundraising efforts is very much appreciated, you are in no way obligated to participate in PTO fundraisers. However, funds raised by the PTO pays for a lot of the "extras" that are not provided by the school district.

The major PTO fundraisers are the Fall Catalog Sale and Spring Basket Raffle. The PTO also participates in a variety of "no-fuss" fundraisers like Box Tops for Education, Chick-fil-a Night, Fun Station Night, T-shirt sales, and other programs to raise funds.

  Many of the above items and programs could not exist without PTO funds. It is the responsibility of the PTO Board to decide how funds raised by the organization are spent. The PTO works closely with the school's Principal, staff, and teachers to determine where funds are needed. The board meets once a month to discuss financial issues, plan events, and brain storm ways the PTO can help the school reach it's goals. No monies are spent without board approval.
